Once attached to computer open file "my computer" attach an mp3 file to each drive. disconnect hipstreet. re-attach hipstreet once again.
once again open "my computer". by clicking on each drive seperately
you with see the "drive" with the mp3 file on it. this is the drive which
hipstreet is linked to.
note: when you wish to remove all songs, leave one track remaining
such that you won't have this problem again!

I cant play my mp3 on my Usb stereo

make sure that when you put your songs to your thumbdrive that they dont get compressed,,, sometimes when your putting songs on them they will automatically compress, which would cause some work and the ones compressed to only work on a computer

E250 SANSA MP3 - IVE NEVER DOWNLOADED MP3 FILES BEFORE....

I have this player and it drives me crazy, too.

I don't know if this will help delete what you don't want but plug the sandisk into your computer and open to view the contents. when you see the list of folders, at the top click on tools--then folder options--then view make sure "show hidden files and folders" is checked. click ok. then if you can see the folder you want to delete, highlight it and press the delete key on your keyboard. (if you want to save it, copy it to your hard drive instead). to put on a cd this may be a roundabout way but is fairly simple. put the cd in the computer, using windows media player rip it and save songs in a folder on the hard drive. save as mp3 (or wma should work, too.) you can read on the net how to do this. once the songs are in the folder, close media play. go to the folder and the hard drive and copy it to the sandisk . you can see on your computer if it is there. unplug from the computer and hopefully you can find it and play the songs. good luck!

Deleting songs

If this problem occurs then your ML648B needs to be formatted.

1. Connect your ML648B to your computer with Windows XP or later.
2. By default your computer will recognize ML648B as GPX MTP Device. Press the POWER button from top of your ML648B, to change it to USB mode connection. You will also see USB on the screen of ML648B.
3. ML648B will now mount 2 drives, one as Tools (as CD-Drive) and second as Removable Disk (Drive) – under My Computer on your Windows Desktop.
4. Right click your mouse and then select the Format option. When the Format Removable Disk window appears select the Start button to start formatting your MP3 player.

MY computer cant detect sansa clip n i cant hear any songs...Plz help me as soon as possible

make sure it's plugged up to both the computer and mp3 player first, then if nothing automatically pops up, click on computer and there should be a picture of your mp3 player, which is it, if nothing is showing you may have a faulty plug. =] let me know.

Hiphone mp3

what that means is that some of the songs are formated different and the player cant interface with the format. i have a phone with a mp3 player intergrated to it all the songs will play on the phone , but i take it and put in my other dvd/mp3 player and all the songs play except for 2 i figured it out the 2 songs are formated different. so the only way to fix this problem is go on your computer and re download the formated songs like the 15 that work. please rate this

Delete songs

You should be able to hook your mp3 player up to your computer with the USB cable. This will allow you to browser the directory where the songs are and delete or add new songs. Your mp3 player will appear in your computer as a removable disk. The songs that you put on your mp3 player need to be in mp3 or wma format. I also found the instruction manual for your product in pdf format. http://www.gpx.com/shop_ind.php?id=%20%20344#
