Denon AVR-588 Sound Delay

Hello, I'm using Denon AVR 588 with harman/kardon speakers. I got everything hooked up and sound seems to come out fine.
However, I'm having a trouble looking for adjusting delay mode, and the manual says in one line that i can adjust this from surround parameter button. I did find the button but theres nothing related to adjusting the delay inside the options.
did anyone have a same problem?

FIRST, IF YOUR USING HDMI CONNECTIONS IN THE DENON HDMI SETUP YOU HAVE TO TURN THE AUDIO DELAY ADJ. ON
SECOND, THE DELAY TIME ADJ, FOR OTHER SOURCES IS LOCATED ON PG 27 IN THE MANUAL, HERE IS THE LINK TO DENON SITE WITH MANUAL

Harman Kardon AVR 25II no sound from left channel

Sounds like the left channel has blown in your AVR 25II. If it was a faulty headphone jack it simply wouldn't send an output signal to the speakers.

Hi if there is an optical out on the television i would use that direct to your Harmon Kardon AVR 125, the sound would be in sync with picture, as the source is the same.

You don't say if all speakers are silent or just the ones to the unspecified NAD power amp. Do ANY speakers work regardless of which device powers them? Could the NAD be the problem?

I have a Harman/Kardon AVR 325. Left speaker not working with TV

How is TV audio (from the cable box) getting into the Receiver? If digitally, you wouldn't be missing any one channel on a connection malfunction, you'd lose them all. If analog, swap the channels around to isolate the problem (and reconsider using digital).

Harmon kardon 745 displays "unlock" no sound for tv or movies

I also had this UNLOCK message on my Harman Cardon AVR 130.
The reason for this error was - in a hurry I've plugged the optical input into optical OUT! Double check that your connections in the back are correct and hopefully it fixes your problem.

Harman Kardon AVR 135 6.1....AUDIO DELAY???

This model does have a delay function. Programming is on page 19 of the user manual. Go to http://www.harmankardon.com/product_support/interstitial.aspx?sJump=ps&Region=USA&Country=US&Language=ENG select all products, AVR135, and get the owner's guide. If you have trouble with the link, then go to the Harmon Kardon site, and make your way to the support portal and then select all products.

AVR 7000 audio/video receiver

Harman kardon amplifire are known for that.specially AVR 7000
but sometimes this comes from poor wiring and using a wire that will not conduct better sound. Remember your wiring is very important.you may think your wiring is currect, better to double check. even if your connection is ok and the wire you are using are not better to produce quality sound you will not get sound from every speaker.

good luck

Harman Kardon AVR 40 no sound

Check the fuses - there may be one inside the box as well. May also be a bad transformer. You can get a multi-meter at Home Depot and lookup how to check the power at the transformer.
