SOURCE: no sound in sound bar and subwoofer
for Jameslicon re wireless sub going on and off repeatedly. Both the soundbar and the sub have 4 wireless channels - try a different pairing of those channels. There is a sliding switch on the back of both units. I set each of mine to channel 4 and the problem went away. There is also a signal level switch with 3 levels on the back of the soundbar. If the wireless channel idea does not work, try a different setting on the level switch. Good luck.

I had this same problem and it was due to their instructions which do not adequately explain the setup procedure.
On my own, I was successful in programming volume up but that was all. I assumed that for volume down I would hold the power button and the VOLUME DOWN button and wait for the flashing light just as I had for volume up. Problem is, you never get a flashing light.
Today, I spoke with a rep from Boston Acoustics who patiently explained that step one of the instructions has to be done the same way each time as it is the step that puts the soundbar into programming mode.
It is only at step 2 that things change.
The solution is to hold the power button and the Volume Up button every time in order to get the system into programming mode. Once the light is flashing, in order to program Volume Down, you then hold the Volume Down button until the light goes solid. Once the light goes solid, then press the volume down button on your remote 4 times slowly. Works like a charm.
Works the same way to program the mute button. Follow step one to get the unit in programming mode. Once the light is flashing, hold down only the mute button until the light goes solid. When the light goes solid, press the mute button slowly 4 times.
OBTW, this was programmed with a Logitech Harmony 650 remote unit.
Hi- My name is Shannon and I am with Suddenlink. The SL-TiVo remote can be programmed to control the TV and one other A/V device using these steps:
1) From TiVo Central, select Settings & Messages > Settings > Remote, CableCARD, & Devices > Remote Control.
2) Highlight Part 1: TV power, volume, and mute and press SELECT.
3) The DVR displays a list of television brands. Use the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW buttons and the CHAN DOWN and CHAN UP buttons on the TiVo remote to highlight your TV brand and then press SELECT.
4) The TV Remote Codes screen appears. Follow the instructions on this screen to enter a code into your remote control. If the first code does not work, repeat the instructions to enter the second remote control code, and so forth, until you find a code that works. The remote is now programmed to operate the TV.
5) If also programming to control volume & mute on an A/V receiver for surround sound; Highlight Part 2: A/V volume and mute and press SELECT.
6) The DVR displays a list of audio/video receiver brands. Use the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW buttons and the CHAN DOWN and CHAN UP buttons on the TiVo remote to highlight your receiver brand and then press SELECT.
7) The AV Remote Codes screen appears.
Follow the instructions on this screen to enter a code into your remote control. If the first code does not work, repeat the instructions to enter the second remote control code, and so forth, until you find a code that works. The remote is now programmed to operate the receiver.
The TiVo remote will now turn the TV on/off and switch inputs and adjust the volume and mute the audio on the receiver.
