Broken gears or snaped belt is the problem. try to open and disconnect your cd slot but first ovserve your unit before you fix it.

My WACS 57 Center will not ever boot. It just always says booting up. What can I do?

contact the manufacturer through the suppoet facility on their website, they are the best people to help you in this matter and may ask you to return the item dor inspection/repair/replacement. This is not the forum for your particular problem I think.

CD stuck in out Philips Streamium WAC 7000. Cannot get the CD to play and Unit is not recognising that there is a CD in it. Will not eject

You should be able to take the top off. Look on the sides. There should be a bunch of small screws. Unscrew them and lift the top off. You should be able to access the DVD once the top is off. Then just put the top back on and screws the screws back in.

I have a philips streamium WACS7000/05. I am unable to play CD's as everytime i put it in, it just ejects it back out again as if it cannot read it. I have tried several CD's all with the same issue.

I had the same problem during the warranty period of my WACS. The result was that the laser reading the CDs was faulty and it was replaced. Since the laser was replaced it has been working fine
