My Kitchenaid Superba Model krgc707lbs0 stove has a problem. The oven fan runs constantly when it is plugged in...then after a while it starts making noise. The oven works fine - but I usually keep the stove unplugged when not in use as the noise and energy consumption bothers me. Any ideas on how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCE: New Kitchenaid stove used 1st time turned oven off now beeping

Hello! Yes, I did figure out the beeping...while on a long hold with the kitchenaid helpline, I took the "cookie sheets off of the top of the stove" and voila the beeping stopped. Simple, but who knew? I hope this helps someone else.

SOURCE: stove burners won't ignoite

just to be clear I am assuming that you can in fact see a spark traveling from the ignitor to the metal surface over where the gas should be expelled... that being the case you must remove the the gas burner from the stove and check for damage or sign of deterioration ie: cracks, rust holes, missing sections etc. more than likely if there is no damage after 7 years of use the problem will be in the form of carbon and rust deposits inside the burner pieces or associated piping (pipe that are in the burning side of the system don't tear into the gas side) *NOTE THIS WILL NOT KEEP GAS FROM COMING OUT BUT MAY PREVENT IT FROM EXITING IN THE PROPER PLACES DESIGNED FOR LIGHTING* you can clean these carbon deposits by tipping the open end face down and tapping the burner pieces with a block of wood or similar device. These deposits should fall out as a heavy black or reddish brown dust you can also try vacuuming it and running an appropriately size drill bit through each of the burner holes to clean them as well or you can probably just purchase a new one by ordering it from the place you bought the stove

SOURCE: Kitchenaid Superba Gas Oven Touch Pad not working

We have a gas kitchenaid KGST307HBL9 and the touch pad is blank, but we discovered that you can still touch the buttons and it will work. (example touch bake; temperature; start). It will beep when the target temperature is reached.

Just so we don't forget and leave the oven on, we turn the oven light on as our signal. A little work, but not wanting to "fork" out the money at this time to repair.

Also, if you are handy RepairClinic.com has many items and can also answer question. We've used them for several of our appliance repairs.

My oven will not turn on. I notice the clock is not on but the burners do work. I have a kitchenaid superba oven with a glass cooktop.

You can download an electrical schematic from the kitchenaid web site. In the back of the stove, you will be able to trace the wires to find a loose connection. Be careful - make sure you disconnect the power before you start. You don't want to accidentally touch 220V.
