My son was bought a little tikes mountain train set and has lost 2 straight road parts, it will be a shame to get rid of it because of this, and was hoping i could get hold of the pieces from somewhere but don't know where to look. I hope you can help me with this promlem. Vicky

If it runs backwards, then the problem but be the forwarding part of the controller. Usually your local Model Shop will know a repairer, or they might undertake it themselves.

This says it is only supposed to run for 30 seconds, so it must have some sort of timer, perhaps in the chimney stack. The other possibility is that the electric motor needs cleaning and lubricating. If you have a Model Shop near you, they normally do repairs or know someone that does. It is a $90 toy so worth repairing!

START/STOP BUTTON With fingers away from track, press top of smoke stack to start and stop train. (Train will move for 30 seconds then stop. Press smoke stack to start train again.)

Perhaps someone may sell a used one for cheaper than new but as for a replacement there is not one, sorry.
