Hello; This model does have built in speakers just below the screen. If you don't have sound, make sure the sound is not muted and that SAP has not been selected in the audio mode on the remote control. Read/ download the owner's manual for best info. If still no audio, you have a failed circuit board. John

REAR door speakers dont work in 98 gmc c1500 suburan

Hi, generally when you a buy a car, the steroe and speakers are all stock fitted, if bought second hand, they may have been upgraded.
Down to your speakers, check connectors behind the steroe unit, should be 2 plugs, one for power with red, black, yellow and blue wires, and the other plug is your speakers. Check there is 8 wires into the plug.
If all is correct then check the rear of your speakers, check the connection and that the wire isnt loose.
If all is fine there must be a wire break somewhere, your stereo presets are only set to the front speakers (fade setting).

Hope this helps

I hooked up a car sterio and everything works but there is no sound. Is it possible I have a + and - crossed on one of the speakers? I am pretty sure everything on the deck is hooked up right because i had...

some cars come with a built in amp that is probably located in the rear of the car and the only you can put in an after market stero is to bypass that amp so that means that you would have to run new speaker wires to all the speakers.

yes, if your flat panel has speakers built into it. just hook dvd into video input with yellow, red . & white cables. sound will come thru tv speakers that way. mch

Factory stero to amp

If the amplifier has inputs for a high level signal, you unhook the wires going into the speaker and plug them into the amp, then hook the outputs up to the speakers. If the amp only has rca inputs, you need to also buy a line level converter. Then you unhook the speakers, hook the wires up the the converter, then hook the converter up to the amp, then hook the amp up to the speakers.

AWIA MODEL NO.NSX-MT960

you can try a universal remote controller which supports your device. this is an important issue that the universal controller must have the exact remote code of your device (preprogrammed) because your remote controller is out of duty; therefore, a controller with learning capability won't solve the problem you have.
