Magnifier will not turn off

HP CQ60 Magnifier SW check follow:
1. check magnifier item locate at middle down side (under the HP LOGO ) of lcd panel, you can use screw drive touch there it will be sticky. if it not sticky there---the magnifier item could be removed or lost the function, you need to open the panel to recover this function. if it works well to go next
2) the magnify receiver is located at keyboard frame top middle ( above the power switch) where is a small board in the back side. if you put any magnify stuff on the top near the power switch, laptop will go to sleep statue. if it not works, the magnifier sensor lost function, it need to repair or change the board,

My arrow turned into a magnifying glass. How do I change it back?

On the Start menu:

Point to All Programs.


Point to Accessories.


Point to Accessibility.


Select Magnifier.

Notes A message box with a link to more information about Microsoft Magnifier may appear. To close the box, select OK.
To use Magnifier but hide the Magnifier Settings dialog box, select the Minimize button.
To turn off Magnifier, in the Magnifier Settings dialog box, select the Exit button

My omega seamaster reduced bought in 2004 is going more then 2 hours fast per 24 hours

The hairspring is affected by magnification. Not a big deal, but you have to visit watchmaker anyway. He/she will demagnify your watch and it will tick properly again.

56mx195 screen scrambled bottom half

sounds like something magnetic got too close to screen. There are repair techs that have demagnifiers but they dont always work... Some will do house calls. Good luck

I have vertical stripes (yellow, clear, blue then green) covering my entire screen. I have a Hitachi 50v720 HD tv. Help anyone?

T.V may have been magnified. Something magnetic too close to television will fry the screen per say. There are repair people with demagnifiers but doesn't always work

1. Click Start, then select Control Panel
2. Double click on Mouse icon
3. In Mouse Properties locate the box that says "Right Side Button"
4. If this box says "Magnify (Default), Click on the drop down arrow and go down list and select disabled, the Click Apply and then OK. This should take the magnify feature off.

5. To reactivate the "Magnify" feature, go back to Mouse Properties, go down the list to "Right Side Button" . Click on the down list and go down the list and select "Magnify (Default). Click on Apply button, then Click on OK. This should reactivate the Magnify feature.

Dark screen on TV

This sounds like a speaker got too close to the TV.
Degauss is built into many tv's check for it in the menu.
Otherwise, yes a TV shop or yourself will need to degauss the TV.

My T.V. has a funny color .. more of double viewing with purple and green what can I do to fix this?

Degaussing means to demagnify. Not applicable with a projection tv. You have a severe convergence problem. Either a component failure, a speaker or other powerful magnet in very close proximity or someone figured out how to adjust (or misadjust) it.
