Lexmark X5100 printer. I copied a small item 3x3 and doubled its size. Now when I try to copy a full page only one small corner is reproduced. It appears I lost a default setting. How do I get a full page copied again. Wally

If you are using your All-In-One without it being attached to a computer and scanning a document that is getting cut off on the edges:
1 Move the document to a different place on the glass.
2 On the operator panel, press the Reduce/Enlarge button
repeatedly until Fit to Page appears.
3 Press Select.

If you are using your All-In-One attached to a computer:
1 Move the document to a different place on the glass.
2 From the software, select a copy setting with autocrop on (Color Photo or Black and White Photo) to make sure that autocrop finds the object and prints it completely.

1 From your desktop, double-click the Lexmark X5100 Series
All-In-One Center
icon. The All-In-One Main Page appears.
2 Click Preview Now to see your scanned image.
3 Select a quantity and color for your copies.
Note: To choose a paper size or further customize your copy
job, click See More Copy Settings.
4 Click Copy Now.

Note: When autocrop is on, the object (wherever it is placed
on the glass) will be printed in the upper left corner of the
page. This might make your copy look different from the
original.

try the above and post back so I know if your issue is fixed or you need more assistance

How do i change the size of print on my Lexmark pro250

Do you also get the same font size result when making a copy using the Copy button from the printer operator panel?
It could be due to the print setting on the application that you're printing from. e.g. If you are using Word application, go to File > Page Layout > select Fonts and choose your preferred font size.

I cannot get the printer to copy anything, it just goes into the align mode. It will print things from my computer.

Hello,

Start up your multi-function printer and computer. Wait until it has powered on completely before beginning.

Open the printer's lid and place your item on the copying surface with the side you want copied face-down on the glass. Double-check the alignment.

Shut the printer's lid. For large items, such as books, you may want to remove the printer lid rather than forcing it closed.

Choose the kind of copy you want: black-and-white or color. You also may have to select the kind of paper that you are copying.

Size the copy to the page if desired. Some multi-function printers allow you to expand or shrink the original to fit different sizes of paper.

.Enter the number of copies you want. You may do this on the multi-function printer or in the print setup of your computer. Make sure the paper tray has enough paper to finish your copying job.

Press the "Start" button. Other names for this might be the "Copy" or "Print" button.
Remove the pages as they are delivered from the printer's feeding mechanism.

Do not tug on the copies as they come out. Let them fall into your hands.

Take care.

How do I access the menu/control panel?

MFP and scanner settings can be changed several ways: through the MFP control panel, the software application in use,
the print driver, MarkVision™ Professional, or the Web pages. Settings changed from the application or print driver apply
only to the job being sent to the MFP.
Changes made to print, fax, copy, and e-mail settings from an application override changes made from the control panel.
If a setting cannot be changed from the application, use the MFP control panel, MarkVision Professional, or the Web pages.
Changing a setting from the MFP control panel, MarkVision Professional, or the Web pages makes that setting the user
default.
Menus (A key is shown on the button.) Touch to access the menus. These menus are only
available when the MFP is in the Ready state.
The Menus button is on a gray bar called the navigation
bar. The bar contains other buttons described as follows.
Understanding the copy screens and options
Copy From:
Opens a screen where you can enter the size of the documents you are going to copy.
Touching any of the paper size icons on the follow-on screen will make that your selection and return you to the
Copy Options Screen.
When Original Size is set to Mixed Sizes, you can scan different size original documents (letter and legal size
pages). They will be scaled automatically to fit the selected output media size.
Copy To: Opens a screen where you can enter the size and type of paper on which your copies will be printed.
Touching any of the paper size icons on the follow-on screen will make that your selection and return you to the
Copy Options Screen.
If the size settings for Copy From and Copy To are different, the MFP will automatically adjust the Scale setting to
accommodate the difference.
If you have a special type or size of paper that you'd like to copy onto that is not normally in the MFP paper trays,
you can select MP Feeder, and manually send the type of paper you want through the MP feeder.
When using Auto Match, the MFP will match the size of the original document as specified in the Copy From box.
If a matching paper size is not loaded in one of the paper trays, the MFP will scale the copy to fit loaded media.
Scale: Creates an image from your copy that is proportionally scaled anywhere between 25% and 400%. Scale can also be
set for you automatically.
When you want to copy from one size of paper to another, such as legal size to letter size, setting your Copy From
and Copy To paper sizes will automatically change the scale to keep all the original document information on your
copy.
Touching the arrow to the left lowers the value by 1%; touching the arrow to the right increases the value by 1%.
Holding your finger on an arrow makes a continuous increment.
Holding your finger on an arrow for two seconds causes the pace of the change to accelerate.
************************Darkness: Adjusts how light or dark your copies will turn out in relation to the original document.****************** here is the link to the full pdf manual for your unit: http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/x644e/en/ug.pdf#xml=http://support.lexmark.com/lexmark/index?page=answeropen&segment=SUPPORT&userlocale=EN_US&locale=en&type=open&searchid=1270220491739&answerid=16777216&iqaction=6&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lexmark.com%2Fpublications%2Fpdfs%2F2007%2Fx644e%2Fen%2Fug.pdf&productCode=&highlightinfo=106955230,537,548

Problem with using the printer copy feature

Please make sure you are positioning the page to be copied on the scanner bed correctly. There is usually one corner of the scanner where you should place the page.

Most scanners mark the "home" corner with either some obvious tic marks or even painted arrows.

I'm trying to scan in a document and then fax it using HP Photosm

Unlike most scanners, you must put the page that you want to copy in lower right corner of the glass (notice the small arrow pointing to the corner). This should fix any problem with an image being cut off. As far as faxing, I don't think the C3180 is able to fax pages. Hope this helps

Problem printing full screen

sounds like your printers settings have accidentally been set to print a smaller area. When you print, look into the area that says page settings or properties before you print, you may find the settings altered. If the settings are set to print full page, then post back as we will need to explore other issues. Cheers lilacgerry
