Audio seems weak...how to increase volume

this is gotta be the largest complaint I hear from folks when they get a new flat screen , its not loud enough or the sound sounds muffled

flat screens are flat ! so theres no good way for mfg to put the speakers facing forward so sound has to hit the wall behind it first then gets directed forward to you ! (low/muffled)

sound bars help with this , but for true rich sound , id go with a video receiver amp combo , some of these even have built in dvd players , and arrange its speakers in a forward facing direction

Hi, When I play video tapes on the VCR the sound is very muffled. You can't hear it. The DVD is fine though, please help.

Hello,

If the sound quality seems to be muffled and the DVD seems to be working perfectly fine, there still is a problem somewhere that is why it is giving the muffled sound.

All you need to do is to check the RF prong and try to adjust it at the back of the DVD to see if its sound quality improves, if not, you will have to change the prong completely.

After changing it, the sound quality will be as perfect as it is supposed to be.

Take care and good luck

Recording to itunes program is muffled and unclear and instead my voice and conversations while i am recording is heard

Sounds like the Record Input is picking the computer's microphone instead of the iT Turntable Source.

On your computer, select Start->Settings->Control Panel
Pick the "Sound" panel item, and bring up the "Sound and Audio Device Properties" dialog.

Across the top of this dialog, there should be several tabs. Pick the one marked "Audio", and there should be a pull-down menu in the middle to select the default Record Device.

Pick the device that matches your USB Turntable device, and try again.

If this helps, please be sure to hit the "thumbs-up" for me.

If not, post a comment back and I'll see what I can do!

No bass and muffled quiet sound... help

No, to make this connection correctly you need a pre amp. you can find them online for about 25 and up. your ipod does not have a pre amp section and is sending a very weak signal to your amplifier. A pre amp is the fix. Hope this helps

Center channel goes muffled after a while of use.

It is likely that something overheating is causing the problem, but nothing should be overheating. Cleaning won't hurt and may help but it is likely to require repair of the faulty component, perhaps a failing capacitor or amplifier.

Audio Problems With MP3

First thing you wanna do is to try another set of headphones. If it still sounds muffled then theres a fault in the audio output section and these things are non user serviceable. Your gonna need to send back to the manufacturer. Good Luck
