I have a Sony Trinitron 32 inch TV...and the "Initial Setup" box keeps popping up on the screen. I am hearing different opinions and not sure what to do. Can you help? Thanks...

Hi, tubes getting tired, band-aid fix you can do is remove back of set and turn up(clockwise) the screen control( small black plastic control mounted on side of flyback transformer, do not turn the knob marked focus) until you see a whole bunch of white lines across the screen, then turn same control counter-clockwise until all the lines go away, try several different channels to be sure all the retrace lines are gone, you`ll get up to 1 year more use out of it, than she`s done, good luck, BMW Rider

Maybe you put magnet near to your TV or something that can produce magnetism.... if not the deguassing system is not functioning anymore. .. bring your unit to near service in your place.

I have a 36 Trinitron, the sound and picture went but the red light just keeps blinking, any ideas? Please ....

first make sure that the plug of the tv-device is well pluged-in and the voltage in your home is normal.if all this, is ok ,enter in the menu and check the status of `timer sleep`(if `on `than turn it `off`)
