When i try to play music my phone locks up - Samsung Lands Phones

Have the same phone and d same prob. Tried downloading other music players from Google play store with no success. Finally settled on shuttle music player with no success. I noticed that the problem happened after the screen for the music player and the phone went to sleep to conserve the battery. I went into the settings for shuttle music player and changed the screen settings to never sleep or lock. I went into the phone settings and changed those screen settings to not lock for the maximum time, 30 minutes. Since doing that, I have had no problems with music player. Frustration has ended. Here's hoping you still have the phone, and that this works. I won't charge you 10 US dollars for this information. Good luck! :-)

Could be one of Two problems. 1. You have corrupted software. Backup pictures and music and perform a system restore. 2. If system restore does not fix issue then you have faulty hardware. Could be a stuck button or the whole main board might be taking a poo. Try restore first . if no luck start shopping for a phone

Just check the options on your media player. or try installing different players which suite to your requirement.

2. PRESS THE SEND BUTTON
3. RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS WILL APPEAR ON YOUR PHONE
4. PRESS YES
5. THE PHONE WILL REQUEST FOR LOCK CODE
6. THEN TYPE YOUR PERSONAL LOCK CODE THAT IS IF YOU HAVE CHANGED IT
   
7. IF NOT TYPE 12345
8. IF IT OCCURS AGAIN SIMPLY FLASH THE PHONE
   

Put a microSD memory card (limit 4GB) in the phone. Take a few pictures and make a short video .Use the phone menu to transfer the pictures an video to the external memory card. Use the media player to watch your recorded video. Try to play music and you will get a no content found message. Now, turn off the phone, remove the memory card and place it into an adapter that will connect to a computer by usb port. Windows should recognize it as a removable drive. If you look at that drive in Explorer you will see 3 folders. Pictures are in my_pix. Videos are in my_flix. Transfer .mp3 files to the my_music folder. When you put the card back into the phone you can play the mp3 files with the media player. Yes, I did this and it works.

if your sony w395 is freezing when playing music...you need to convert it to m4a...it's working to my phone...:) you can read it on my blog too...

you should try updating the firmware on phone or try reflashing the original firmware on the phone this can be done by taking it to a mobile repair center to have that done.

go to the tools, than settings, than phone settings, than orig. device settings, than enter the lock code your phone will than restart and than try it. if your problem is not yet solved than get it a software update by Nokia care

Had the same problem with being able to load MP3 songs onto the phone but they would not play. Elapsed song time indicator remained at 0.00.

In Windows Media Player, select Sync Menu......then Samsung Juke........then Format. The warning states that you will lose all data. This only pertains to the songs that you cannot get to work anyway. Your stored phone #'s will still be there after the reformat.

I reformatted and reloaded the MP3's and everythings now works just fine.
