My gogear vibe is frozen it wont work the screen is on but you cant here anything and cant move it i was hearing a song then it was almost over then i tried to change the song but it froze please help

There should be options somewhere in the software to set your syncing options, try to find something that turns off sync all or turn on sync only what i choose..
The best way to do it is to connect it to a PC. Right click on the Device logo, select explore , identify the files or songs , right click the mouse on those files or songs and select delete and click on Yes. Since you can see all the data on a bigger screen one makes lesser mistakes while deleting .
Try the repair function of the Songbird software and restore VIBE to the factory settings. Before you proceed, bach up your files stored on VIBE if possible because the following procedure erases all files you have on the player: 1: Launch the Philips Songbird on the PC 2: In the Philips Songbird menu bar (at the top), click on the Tools pull-down menu and then select Repair My VIBE. 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the repair procedure. Try Resetting it, by getting a sharp edge (something) and pressing the button on the left side of the device..if that doesnt work, try waiting for the battery to die, the reset, then try charging it again. Hope this helps.(:
