Try changing its screen resolution to a higher refresh rate.
I checked and the screen resolution is at its highest (32 for LCD). Thank you for trying to help anyway! If there is anyone else who had this problem and resolved it, please help!
It's the problem with the LCD screen. Sometimes even slightest Voltage fluctuation may cause the LCD to go bad. A thin green flickering line appearing at bottom in intervals near the Taskbar is an indication that the LCD needs to be replaced. It is quite common to see such a symptom and is normal to continue using the Laptop with that LCD as no harm is caused to the remaining LCD however, it is better to get it replaced to avoid any further degradation. I believe the product is still under warranty as Sony gave 2 Years Warranty at least in India for CS Series. So its better to get it replaced with a new (not refurbished) LCD. If however out of warranty, new CS LCD in India at least costs 6-7K INR.
Hope the information helps. Good luck!! Many thanks.
