I have a top load kenmore washer that won't spin or drain
It will wash and everything but doesn't make the buzzing noise or anything, just shuts off and i can't get under it because it is full of water. how do i drain the water first then remedy the problem

The pump is likely damaged if it was leaking. Look for a ring of melted plastic on the face side of the pump. Check to make sure the hole is not rounded where the motor shaft enters the pump. I'd replace the pump just to make sure the washer doesn't flood some time in the future even if the pump turn out to be ok now.
Sounds like a broken motor coupler for sure, the motor shaft will still spin the drain pump, but drive between the motor and transmission is lost. Part# 285753A. Have fun. If you need breakdown info let me know.
sounds to me that something is stuck in your pump check the pump if you open the pump have lots of towels on hand the machine will not spin if it does not drain
