Hi there,
it sounds like the internal transformer has gone.
It's not user replaceable and will require you to take to an electronics store to be repaired.

SAME THING RECENTLY HAPPEN WITH ONE OF MY BITS OF KIT ...... for heavens sake don't just keep changing the fuse time and time again.

Pioneer 74txvi fuses (fast or slow) burning

If there is nothing left inside the little glass tube, it's a fast blow. A slow blow fuse will usually have a spring and some other material that make up the slow blow mechanism. slow blow fuses used to also have 'SB' stamped on the metal end caps. The fuse holder may also tell you. If you cant figure it out, put in a fast blow and see how long it lasts, If if blows when you turn the volume high, you should try a slow blow.

I would suggest trying what is called a slow burn fuse of the same size, if there is something wrong with the power suppy then the fuse will continue to blow I would not recomend a higher amp fuse as this may cause other things to fry in unit.

My Rotel RA-935BX blows out the fuse on the power socket during operation, after repair the fuse, it is blow out as Rotel power on, what's wrong?

It seems you have a short circuit in your unit. Further attempts at switching it on are not advisable as more damage will occur. Get it checked out by an electrician who can test from the plug for a short circuit.

Blew a fuse what kind dose it take is it a slow blow fuse or fast blow one,i took out the old fuse and it reads le.3a/250v is it a 3a or .3a

It is a 3A/250V fuse, also known as a 6A/125V fuse.

Power amps generally have slow blow fuses.

The two 5 amp fuse inside the amplifier keeps blowing

Hi,

That must be the inrush current.
Maybe you are using the wrong fuses.
Please check if those are fast or slow types.
You need slow types.

Good luck,
Gerard

No Power on 32" Panasonic

A slow blow fuse is also known as an anti-surge fuse the idea being any sudden "spikes" in you mains electric when you switch on would blow a quick blow fuse. Anti surge fuses are designed to tolerate any sudden initial electric pulse.

Blown fuse

You can try a slow blow fuse, but more than likely there is some other issue in the unit that is drawing too much current. By no means would you want to increase the amperage of the fuse. it could cause a fire.
