Sound driver dear sir, pls help me i want sound driver downlod but i no model of mother bord so pls tell me about my proble i thing my pc is p4 & assuse mother board

lost motherboard cd and a virus infected my pc thus after formating i lost multimedia control (audio drivers) and thus cannot play audio files either from ROM or any other source. Motherboard is SiS 661 manufactured by Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00PG. wish to get these drivers pliz.

You'll need to look on the board for a model number. Older boards placed a sticker on the sides of the PCI (White in color) slots. P4 stands for Pentium4 CPU. That is not enough information to find you're sound card driver. Motherboards as far back as 2006/2005 would mark the boards model number in white lettering. If you're board came from a manufacture already in a case the model number will be marked on the case. If you think the board is an Intel the model number will start with the letter D.
