You can turn off the automatic updates from the control panel, system and security, windows update, choose never check for updates from the drop-down menu. As for me, i don't like windows every now and then, installing updates as if my computer is not working or will stop working if i don't install these updates. I only fancy updates for an anti-virus.

My internet keeps connecting and disconnecting whenever I try and get online?

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question here.

I suggest that you go to safe mode with networking to test your internet connection there. Safe mode is the basic operating system interface of your computer thus disabling any advance softwares which might be affecting your connection now.

To go to safe mode, do the following:

Restart your computer and keep tapping F8 until you see the options to go to "Safe Mode with Networking".

Highlight safe mode with networking by using your arrow keys. Press enter.

Once you are in safe mode, try connecting to your internet and observe if the problem is gone. If internet is good, then there's an update or software change that affected your connection.

You can fix that by doing a system restore. Think about the date when you had no problem with your internet. and do the system restore.

Start > Programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore

Select the date when you had no issue yet and let it restart. Check.

Another possible reason is an outdated network adapter driver. This happens when there are changes in the software. You can update it manually which takes time maybe 15 minutes or more or you can install Radarsync and let it update all the outdated drivers in your computer. You won't have to do anything at all. All driver updates will be taken care of.

Another possible issue is your internet service. If all of the above possible problems are covered with no fix at all, then you better contact your Internet service provider.

I hope this helps!

If you have any questions, please drop me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

You can your phone to your laptop via bluetooth or by data cable.
To access internet from your laptop using phone is something using dial up networking. To use dial up networking you have to create a connection profile.First go to control panel->network connections->in that network connection take a view at side bar their is create new connection. Then new connection wizard window comes up click next and choose your profile(if u want to use it via bluetooth choose ddial up modem).

Hello,

When trying to connect to your laptop with windows 7 as an operating system, trust me the problem is not from the phone, it is the operating system that is not allowing such function.

Try to use the phone on another operating system to see if it works fine, then you will be able to tell if it is from the phone or the operating system.

Windows 7 does not allow plenty of functions so do not be surprised if it is the cause of you not being able to browse on your laptop using your phone.

Take care and good luck

ERROR 80072EFE IS NOY ALLOW TO UPDATE WINDOW 7

I understand you receive an error message 0x80072EFE when trying to installing update from the Windows Update website. This kind of issue may be caused by hardware/software firewalls or proxy server or Windows category files are corrupted. Let’s try the following steps to resolve this issue.

Step 1: Check background programs.
=======================
Disable firewalls or other Internet browser programs that can affect the Internet connection. The following programs can affect the connection to the Windows Update site and I suggest you remove or disable them:

McAfee firewall
Norton Internet Security
Zone Alarm Firewall
Panda firewall

Step 2: Delete the CatRoot2 folder
=======================
A: Stop Cryptographic Services:

1. Click Start, click Run, type in "SERVICES.MSC" and press Enter.
2. Double click Cryptographic Services, and then click Stop (if it has been started).

B: After stopping Cryptographic Service, please delete the "Catroot2" folder:

1. Locate the "C:\Windows\System32\" folder.
2. Delete the Catroot2 subfolder in System32.

Note: I am assuming your Windows Vista is installed in C:\Windows.

C: Re-start Cryptographic Services:

1. Click Start, click Run, type in "SERVICES.MSC" and press Enter.
2. Double click Cryptographic Services, and then click Start.

After performing the above steps, please visit the Windows Update website and check the available update.

Hope this helps.

Internet Explorer 7 does not connect

Try doing an update from the Microsoft website.
If you have, do you have an antivirus or firewall running? Turn off one at a time until you can see your browser.
I would recommend Firefox as well. Just for added security.
