Re: Hello my Acer Aspire M5640 just crashed it powers up...
If you have no 'BIOS' startup display, try:
- Unplug the PC from the main AC power to force a hard reset. Reboot and test.
- cleaning the memory board 'gold' contact with a white soft pencil eraser and swap them around if you have a couple. Reboot and test.
- using a single memory board if you have more than one. Reboot and test for each memory board individually.
If you have 'BIOS' startup display, but fail to boot, also try:
- Check and re-seat all external and internal cables (HDD, USB), and PCI cards (eg. Video)
- Check Bios setting expecially for HDD
