I bought a Bose V35 2 weeks back. I played my system yesterday and switched off. Since this morning I am unable to switch on the system. Green light keeps blinking and I keep getting the message "iPod starting up" on my remote screen. I have tried turning on/off the system 3 times, removed the iPod connecting wire and also tried resetting the system by pressing the power button for a few seconds and also the mute & ok buttons on the remote. Unable to reset as I still see the green light blinking and the error "iPod starting up" on remote. Please advise what my options are. Cheers Sj

I have identical problem. It was working this morning, until I switched of power, unplugged all the cable to to do some re-wiring around my theater room. And now while I power on Bose v35 system it Green light keeps blinking and on my remote I keep getting message "Input 2 (HDMI) Starting Up"... I tried everything. Did you end up determining the root cause of this error? I dont see any Bose Updates on there website either :-( Cheers! Yav

Hello,
With this system being so recent from purchase you should return it to the store as it is faulty. DO Not Attempt to do any "Mr Fix It" type repairs as it will invalidate any warranty (standard is 12months from new in UK)

2002 Suzuki Savage dead except for neutral light.

It may be the kick stand safety switch? You can only start it sitting on the bike with the stand up.

My bose solo has a yellow light instead of green

The yellow light means you are in reduced bass mode. Hold the mute button on the remote for about 3 seconds and you'll hear 3 tones going up and the light will switch back to green. Enjoy!

PS3 can turn on, but T.V screen is black

turn power switch on in the back. red light on in the front, hold the power button until system turns back off. this resets all hardware settings. if this doesn't work and the system is ok (green light) then you have a connection problem to the tv

Dvd's play with a distinct green tint

Check the component cable from the Bose to the TV, and confirm the output setting on the Bose. If it switched to "S" video it will look green. If your cable is good and your settings are correct, switch from component to standard video and check the picture. Chances are good that it's a setting. Hope this helps. If you still have a problem, post a comment and I will help you some more

Bose lifestyle no sound

Hi, best practice when troubleshooting a no-sound Bose Lifesytle system is to first begin with the internal sources (i.e. the AM/FM). Bose Lifestyle system when connected properly (media center and bass box via the data cable) should show a steady green light underneath the bass module. Begin by simply playing AM/FM tuner and try to increase the volume till 45 (normally the sound becomes audible at this level). If the system still has no sound, then try to check if the bass module is steady green. When you see a blinking green LED (slow green) then do kindly check the DIP siwtch (red latch switch with white mini switches) just beside the Light and data connection. All of the switches should be in "ON" position (basically toggled upwards with the arrow marking indication). Before changing DIP switch settings do ensure that the bass module is not connected to the electrical power. after ensuring that all DIP switch are in the "ON" position, connect the data cable firs and then power up the bass module. Then you should see the bass module blink green twice and once you turn on the nedia center, the green blinking should turn steady green. That should sort out your problem.

Also do note tha this procedure applies only to Series II Lifesytle System and does not include the Series IV (with the smaller bass module).

If all still fails, there is an internal problem with the bass module which would require servicing.

Hope this helps!
