Sounds like the tempreture thermostat in the fresh food is not sensing the tempreture properly, or the damper assy. is not closing or stuck open. you need to replace the thermostat for the fresh food section or the damper. their is a control box kit available
by frigidaire part # 5303918283 that will solve your problem.it has the fresh food thermost,the frz thermostat the damper and the board all together it retails for 235.99 -299.99. seen it at sears for 179.99. ,price just recently went up on these kits we still have one left for 129.99 + tax. + shipping . shop around and search for the best price .you will need that part # to search for part. good luck contact us if you need to orer or have any aitional questions. thank you

the internal heater of the unit is not functioning and the defrost system allso check the mechanical timer of the defrost or if the unit does not have a mechanical timer it is build in in the PC board change hte PC board then it will go back to normal

Which way do you turn the dial for changing temperature control to make it quit freezing all our food
If there is a off position, That will be the direction to turn it higher. Make sure the seal on the door is working properly. It can cause ur problem

You can do so but the freezing temperature may not be as good on a standard fridge specially for frozen foods as the mini is mainly meant for emergency foods and beverages.

GE GSS25LGMA refrigirator/freezer refrigirator side is freezing
There is an electrically activated air dampener in the upper left back side of the refrigerator section which most likely has broken (in the open position), allowing cold air from the freezer to continue to enter the fresh foods section. Replace the dampener assembly.

If you have replaced the fan and it is not sticking or jammed then the controller board is the main suspect.

Top mounted freezer on refrigerator not working
Move the refrigerator to a room that is at least 50 degrees F.

Temps on most refrigerators are regulated by the fresh foods temp. If your garage is let's say 35 degrees, the fresh foods temp will most likely never raise enough to turn the refrigerator on. With the refrigerator never running, the freezer compartment will warm to 35 degrees, resulting in everything melting. Even if garage is a bit warmer, say 45, the refrig will not run long enough for the freezer to maintain a low enough temperture. If the garage temp falls to below freezing, say 20 degrees, the food in the fresh foods compartment will freeze. (outdoor beverage dispensers have internal heaters to prevent product from freezing !) Please don't rate this if not a Fix-Ya for you, as anything else lowers my score.

Side by side freezer
Check that the freezer circulating fan is running. The frige section may have dampers or vents (lets the freezer air cool the refer section) that are open too much. Usually the bottom area in the frige has a control lever to meter how much cold air gets to that section (lots for meat, little for fruits, etc.). Check the owners manual for operation of those vent dampers.
