Delonghi 4 slice toaster not working on one side

Question moved from Laundry Dryers to Delonghi Toaster.

The most likely cause is a broken element. Remove the case and check with a multimeter.

Only the Toaster Ovens have a thermal fuse

Delonghi xr640 toasting-finished chime not working

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

f the oven doesn't work at all, make sure the circuit breaker or fuse is on at the electrical service panel and test the electrical cord . If the oven doesn't work on its toaster and oven functions, test the main switch . As needed, check the fuse .
If the toaster function doesn't turn off unless the door is open, test the solenoid, the switch and if necessary, the thermostast.

Location of the typical toaster oven's thermal fuse.
If the toaster oven stays on when the door is opened, check the main switch . If the oven doesn't heat, test the heating elements.

Hi, if the the toaster already quit, that could be probably the fuse that got busted on your Oven. you can check with any local technician in your area to see on how you can get it changed.

The blue light does not go on and the heating element does not wo

The problem is most likely the timer switch. They are very poorly made and tend to overheat causing eventual failure. B&D will be of no help and you will not be able to find the original switch. There is a switch made for Delonghi ovens that will work if you need a timer. The part # is 5218104600 and can be purchased for $10.98 at the Gourmet Depot website. This switch has a toast timer only if you turn it clockwise and turn counterCW for oven ON. Timer is only about 13 minutes. There is another switch that has a 120 minute timer. It looks the same and the part # is Delonghi 5218101800. May be harder to find. Another solution and a much cheaper one is to replace the broken switch with a single pole single throw toggle switch rated for 20 amp's at 120 volts. You will need to turn the oven on and off manually and you will no longer have a timer but at least you will be able to use your oven!

Bottom elements on DeLonghi AD699 failed.

Solution: buy a new toaster oven. I determined that the manufacturer stopped selling replacement heating elements in 2006, three years after the model year (2003). After market parts makers don't sell the elements for safety and liability reasons. So I got a new one.

Toaster/oven

Could be the timer switch. They will suddenly stop working all at once or work intermittantly. Unless it's a Delonghi you may have a very hard time finding the part you need. If the switch is a DKJ/1-60 you will not find one but there is a Delonghi switch that you can use which you can find at www.thegourmetdepotco.com or www.applianceparts.com . The Delonghi part # is 5218104600 to replace a DKJ/1-60
