What brand and model is your present remote control, and have you checked the battery and battery connections first?

If the fan came with a remote you probably can't. If it was an add-on, just remove the receiver and reconnect the wires from fan to house wiring.

That's not a Hunter Model #. Anyway, If it has a built-in remote call 1888-830-1326. If it's not a built-in remote then you should be able to use most remotes.

Contact Paloma/Rheem 866-720-2076. Super nice! I just called regarding mine. Having same problem Rheem Paloma sending parts out tomorrow overnite. Try turn it on/ off by moving tiny switch under the unit that tells you the temperature. Run your fingers along the bottom to find it. That is a temporary fix. have you sanded the terminals off on the battery contacts in the battery compartment in the remote,even new batteries at 3 volts between the 2 batteries cannot pass alll the signals if the tabs of the battery are corroded,i know ,you will say,they look shiny,but any glossy corrosion will inhibit battery voltage,use a nail file board lightly
