The fan belt keeps coming off when it comes to do a spin also makes a knocking noise from the drum. its only 14 month old its a indesit wlb101 and its driving me nuts

It has to do with the drum not spinning properly.
It could be the belt has come off or broken.
If belt o/k, then you need to check the brushes in the motor.
If less than 3 or 4mm long, they need replacing.

Could be excuse me ..Bra wire in drum stick your head in and look, if so best way to remove is take out heater to fix only if you are confident in repair..Good luck

The two dampers that fix to the outer drum casing have plastic bushes that can fall out. Check the floor under the machine, They are easy to replace just click in place.
