I have been told that the vx510 card processor can be run off of a UPS for occasions when AC power isn't available. I cannot find power consumption figures on the vx510 excep for a voltage rating of 115VAC and 22-26 VDC, 1.5anps. I do not know if the 1.5 amps is the current at 115vac or the 24(nom)vdc. Can you give me any info that will help me in selecting a portable power source for this card reader?

The vx510 operates with a power adapter. The 115VAC is what the adapter plugs into, and the DC numbers are for the output to the actual machine. Basically you just plug the power adapter into the UPS and it's already plugged into the machine...just like a laptop, etc.

However...the figures your are quoting of 22-26VDC at 1.5 amps do not agree with Verifone's published specs for the vx510 of 9.4 VDC at 4.0 amps (link to product specs page). I'd be very careful.

Hope that's helpful.

How many systems can connect to 5 kva ups

A 5 KVA (kilovolt-ampere) UPS (uninterruptible power supply) typically supports a range of devices depending on their power requirements. It's important to note that the number of systems that can connect to the UPS will vary based on the power consumption of each individual system. As an example, if we consider an average desktop computer with a power consumption of around 300 watts, the 5 KVA UPS could potentially support around 16-17 such systems. However, this number could be higher or lower depending on the specific power demands of the devices being connected. Additionally, it's worth noting that VAT deregistration (https://calculatethevat.com/vat-deregistration) involves the process of removing a business from the Value Added Tax system, which can have financial and administrative implications.

I shut down power to my UPS for a few hours and now it will only run off of internal battery even though 120vac is available. Will they not charge and supply power at the same time? Any suggestions?

there should be a reset button on the UPS that may have tripped when you shut down the power
they normally run the electronics and trickle charge the battery at the same time

VeriFone VX510 "TCP Error 10030003" is the error

Tcp ip errors 1001 to 1009 are going to be communication errors regarding your isp equipment. The first thing you want to do is not just power cycle your terminal but also the router and modem or just the one if you have a combo equipment. Just like the commercials use to say when your online your router may just go down quietly. So after unplugging everything wait about 2 mins and plug back in the router/modem wait for the lights to become silent all except the online light which should flash. Then once those return plug in your credit card terminal and attempt a transaction as normal if your still getting the error more then likely its an issue with your internet processor and i would advise calling to see if there is maybe an outage

Is a Honda Accord 2004 Executive air conditioner connected to the battery, or does it effect the fuel consumption ?

AC compressors are driven by the surpentien belt that drives all the other components, such as , alternater, water pump, power steering, etc. When the AC is not on it requires nearly no power. Only the pulley is retating. When the AC is on, an electric clutch drives the compressor through the pulley. When the engine is idleing you may notice a momentary slight change in speed when the AC is turned on. I'm told the compressor requires about 7 HP to drive it. So, yes it has an effect on the fuel consumption. However, the cost of running the AC may not be significant. Try checking your milage with and with out the AC. Be sure to drive in the same area and type of traffic when testing. You should know that the AC is on automaticly when you use the windshield defroster setting. Some cars have the AC on other times or even all the time.

I have Samsung NP-R505H laptop. My laptop won't

You say it isn't charging, but will it run off of AC power? If it isn't getting *ANY* AC power, then it might be the female end of the power jack on the laptop. If it will run on AC, the culprit is likely to be a battery that needs replaced.

My ups is giving dc suppy regular

Do you mean that the UPS runs on battery but does not transfer to AC even when AC main supply is Available? If yes check the AC fuses inside the UPS. I assume you know how to disassemble a UPS, but if no please let an experienced technician handle this as you are expose to electric shock if you make mistake while the unit is open.

My ups battery backup time is too short even i replace the battery

sounds like you have too many devices plugged in, it's not the ups that's failing it's the amount of power it takes to keep all you devices running. you may want to buy a larger ups or you can unplug some of the devices you don't need in the event of power outage. if it's just your pc your power supply might be sucking up alot of juice, i'd check and see what the power consumption rate is on that particular power supply.
