How do I setup the Caller ID feature on Nortel T7208 ?

It's not so much removing Denied in Admin as it is enabling whatever feature the user was trying to access at that set.

In system programming, you can select whether the display is the name, number, or line.

at 1StDisplay use CHANGE softkey to toggle to NAME.

This is usually programmed as one of the 'soft' buttons down the right hand side of the device - subject to the programming of your phone / and the system.

Usually the T7208 is connected to the BCM range of PBX systems - in which case, to transfer a call, you'd use Feature 70. You could, of course, program this into one of the buttons yourself, so you only have to press one button to do so.

After entering the mailbox access F981, press "#", the display should change from Pswd: to Log:. Now, enter the alternate mailbox number followed by the password for that box and "#". The remainder of the prompts should be the same as accessing the 'native' mailbox.

your mailbox number is the last 4 digits of your phone number

The caller ID facility is an optional facility provided by your Operator and this needs to be activated from operator side in order to show in customer's Called ID device.
Please check it with any other line that has the same facility activated.

Put TDD and DNDD on class of service
