Intermition operstion. Changed the brushes no operation.

it is normal for the turbo to glow as the the hot exhaust gases flow throw it

Drum motor, drum belt or drum motor brushes would be my guess. If all these are fine then could be relay on pcb Not allowing motor to operste

does the motor surge when you push it back & forth or when you raise & lower the brush end of vacuum?
if so it sounds like it needs a new belt installed.
the belt should be routinely changed every 12 months (some need to be changed sooner) do to the belt stretching.
changing the belt to see if that changes how vacuum operates is a cheep & easy fix.

Check ur power source,like the outlet?Check change the A/C cord?Still happened it ur tv power supply board have short somewhere,must change the whole board.Intermition prob.very hard to determin to troubleshoot,by parts to parts to changes.

this problem is caused by the tiny electric motor that operstes the speedo needle sticking
