I was listening to my player, probably only like for the 6th time, have only had it since May. It just stopped playing-the battery was brand new-and now when I try to turn it on it just lights up and I have to take the battery out to turn it off. I saw someone else had this problem and the solution was to just buy a new one. Is there really no way to fix this? And what caused this to happen? If it's gonna happen again, I certainly don't want to buy another one. So, if this is the only solution, is there a company that will refund my money?
Same identical problem, I went to sirenplayer.com web site, but they did not have any help either, in fact they did not show this unit in their product list at all. That web site was listed on the ilo quick start guide. I reconnected the ilo back to my pc and the music will play via the usb connection using microsoft media player. when disconnected from my pc the ilo would not play the music.Same identical problem, I went to sirenplayer.com web site, but they did not have any help either, in fact they did not show this unit in their product list at all. The iPod's shuffle feature lets you randomize playback of albums, songs or even your entire music library. You may also find this feature useful if you want to listen to forgotten tracks in your library or discover songs you haven't listened to yet. Disabling the shuffle feature will return playback of a song list to its standard consecutive order. You can enable and disable the shuffle feature at any time.
Navigate to the main menu. Select "Settings." Scroll to the "Shuffle" option. Select "Songs" or "Albums." If you select "Songs," the iPod Classic will shuffle the songs on whatever song list you listen to. If you select "Albums," the iPod Classic will play all songs of an album you select in order and then randomly select another album. Navigate to the playlist or album to which you want to listen. Play a song to initiate the shuffle. b> iPod Nano and iPod Touch Tap the "Songs" icon on your nano home screen. If you are using an iPod Touch, open the "iPod" application. Navigate to the song list, playlist or album you want to play. Tap the "Shuffle" icon at the top of the list to activate the feature.
It sounds like the file may be corrupted. I'm not sure why the computer can play it while the iPod can't, but I would try to download it and sync it to the iPod again. Can't hurt and should solve the problem. Good luck!
The sixth place is where the cd that was being played has to be put before it can take another cd to play. there should be a reset button some where im not sure where yet but I will find out and let you know shortly.
I have an Emerson from several years ago that I've taken all apart and put back together. My guess is, unless it auto powers off when paused, or there's another button besides play/pause, stop, Back, forward, mode, prog, and antiskip, your problem is better-solved with an mp3 player. An ipod shuffle would do fine. The shuffle feature can be turned on or off, and one may jog without disturbing the electronics.
don't think it's possible.
-when you charge and play via your laptop, the player is acting as a USB key and the laptop is doing the playing.
-when you charge it via your in-car port you do not have a 2nd device on which to play tunes.
it's either charge or play i'm afraid
I have the same problem. Sometimes mine just turns off, then back on plays for 1-2 seconds then turns off/on again, and does it about 4-5 times before freezing.
When I turn it on it lights up and then slowly blinks!
