Why does voltage at circuit breaker read 120V and less than one volt at dishwasher junction box?

Say, do you want to play with this?
Could you disconnect the wires at the dishwasher junction box, (remembering exactly where they go) and find an extension cord you could plug in somewhere else to get electricity to the junction box that way? Obviously, you should need to have bare wires to hook to the junction box, so you might be sacrificing an old extension cord, or you might be using romex wire, or something like separate wires. Just be sure you know what you are doing so you don't get ZAPPED. God bless your efforts.

The dishwasher will not turn on. I've already checked my breaker box, and nothing seems to be wrong there with the dishwasher. It worked a few days ago, but now all of a suddden seems to have died.

I would first take a look inside the junction box were the power cord connects to the dishwasher. The junction box is located at the bottom of the dishwasher and can be access by removed the toe plate.
I have seen were one of the wire nuts that connect the power cord will come loose or burn off.
If the power cord is connected ok then I would check the thermo fuse with a ohm meter to see if it's blown.

I have a circuit breaker that controls a light switch and all the outlets in one bedroom and controls half the outlets and a light switch in another bedroom. None of which work now. I have replaced the...

One single cable runs from the circuit breaker to a junction box in that area of the house.
The cable has a black Hot wire, white Neutral wire, and bare ground wire.
Once the cable arrives at junction box, it can split up 2 or 3 directions.
Each successive box receives a cable that feeds back to the first junction box.

Chances are the junction box is on the ceiling. And it will be the ceiling box that is closest to main breaker box.
Junction box can also be a switch box. In that case it will be switch box closest to main box.

Find the junction box, as point of organization.
Open junction box and separate all black and white wires.
Turn power on and see if breaker sets.
That will tell you if problem is between main box and junction box.

Junction box wires are separated.
Tape tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from power.
Turn power ON and test each wire in junction box to bare ground wire.
Tester will light up on Hot wire.
Test Hot to each other wire in box, except bare ground, and tester lights up on Neutral
This identifies the cable that comes from breaker box.

Now, reconnect cable from breaker box to one of the other sets of black and white wires located in junction box.
Check if breaker resets.
If breaker resets, see what circuits are working, and you can eliminate them as suspect.

Remember each successive box in a circuit has 1 cable that connects back to main breaker box
Going 1 box at a time, and disconnecting black and white wires, will eventually lead to the suspect.

How do you hook the four wire electric cable to the terminal marked L1, L2, L3? the wires are colored red, white, black and green.

To connect power cord:
• Remove the screws from the cover of the
junction box located at the top rear of the dryer.
• Loosen/remove the two screws on the strain
relief clamp and remove from 4-wire supply
cord.
• The strain relief splits into two indentical parts.
• Insert the large flange of both sections into the
hole located on the left side of the junction box
housing. The short flange of both sections and
screws must remain positioned on the external
side of the junction box housing.
• Insert the 4- wire supply cord through both
sections of the strain relief and re-install strain
relief screws, do not fully tighten until electrical
connections are complete.
• Attach the power cord ground conductor (green
wire) to the ground terminal marked with the
ground symbol. Tighten screw until ground
conductor is secure. (See Fig. 7)
• Attach the power cord neutral conductor (white
wire) to the neutral terminal. (marked N)
Tighten screw until neutral conductor is secure.
(See Fig. 7)
• Attach the power cord phase conductor (black
wire) to the phase terminal (marked L3).
Tighten screw until power conductor is secure.
(See Fig. 7)
• Attach the power cord phase conductor (red
wire) to the phase terminal (marked L1).
Tighten screw until power conductor is
secure.(See Fig. 7)
• Tighten the screws on the strain relief so that
the power cord cannot be moved.
• Re-install the cover of the junction box and
secure with four screws removed earlier.
• The dryer is now ready to be connected to the
power supply receptacle.

This is from the manual for the Danby DCD5505W. You did not give the model # so I went off of what you listed it under.

DISPLAY SAYS "PF"

HI, there may have been a power surge that shut this unit down or, the junction box may be shorting the power sector. this will damage the main control in this case. i recommend shutting the power off by, pulling the unit plug from the wall socket or, shut the circuit breaker off. let the unit sit for 5 minutes without any power. this will reset the logic chip.

Power the unit back up after this 5 minute wait to see if the reset worked. if the PF is still present, this will confirm a main control fault. replace the control in this case.

**check the power cord junction point for worn connections.

My Kenmore 9114742592 Wall Oven does not work. The display is blank and the circuit breaker is not tripped. What can I check for?

HI, check the junction box for separated power cord wires. replace the junction point if the wires are separated and not connected to the oven properly. replace the cord as well in this case.

Now, if the power cord is ok and, the junction is connected properly, this will confirm that the control or, clock has failed. replace the clock or, oven control board in this case.

Maytag Dishwasher MDBH965AW will not power.

Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replace

If the junction box checks out ok, the wall outlet socket is live, replace the main control or timer module.
