SOURCE: i have an aqua vu scout and it has good battery

mike if you are still having this problem, i figgured out how to fix it. i was having the same prob. so i cut the male conector part off the the camera cord and cut like 4" of the black cord part off to expose the wires. there will be 4 colored wires and 1 bare wire cut the bare wire off as close as you can to where you stripped off the black part, then expose the top inch of each color wire. OK now open up the back of the monitor, take the black female connector off you dont need it. you will see a 4 prong female connector part inside cut that off too, then conect the wires black - black / yellow - white / red - orange (i think it was orange) / blue - green . it sounds kinda complicated, but really easy, and now it works great! make sure you use electrical tape or something over bare wires

Check the battery voltage. It should read around 12 volts. I have the same unit that did the same thing. The battery voltage was down to 6.5 volts. That was enough to power the LED but not enough to run the unit. Once I used a known good battery everything worked fine. Good luck!

Cushioned or not, your camera likely landed on the end of its lens, dislodging it from the track it rides on to zoom, or jamming it on the track so that it cannot move, and the camera powers itself off to prevent further damage when it senses the lens problem. You can try a home remedy by powering the camera off, and then holding the zoom button while you power up. Sometimes that will pop the lens back on the track and restore function. You can also try GENTLY pulling on the lens while you power the camera on (or GENTLY pushing if the lens is extended). Some owners have reported success by GENTLY tapping the lens end on a firm surface, but that can also cause more damage. If all else fails, you'll need to get a repair quote (NOT an estimate) from Kodak.com or your local Kodak repair point to decide whether or not the camera is worth the cost of repair (some repairs can exceed the cost of a new camera).

Lg Vu wont charge

First you must determine is it the charger faulty or the phone ? , have you a friend with the same phone if so try her or his battery to see if your phone is ok if so try the charger with your battery and see if it charges if it does get a new charger , if it did not charge or work with your friends battery or charger the sorry it would be cheaper to buy a new phone than try to get it fixed ...
if you haven't got a friend with the same phone have a local electrician check if there is an output from your charger . if there is it may just be the battery try a new one if still no luck it is probably the phone's charger circuit gone pop ,, sorry .. vortash

Need pin out info for aqua vu 4 pin connector

I figured it out:

Here goes: There are 4 wires inside the Aqua Vu cable that runs to the underwater part of the cam.

Red = Hot or 12 volt power from battery postive (red) terminal

Black = Ground - ground to battery negative terminal

White= Video input (or center of video coax)

Green= Infrared lighting control, if you ground the green wire against the black/ground, you will see

that it switches ON the infrared or "Christmas" lights. Simply put a switch on the green wire after you ground it, so you can switch your IR's on and off.
