Run your system in safe mode then uninstall the newly installed programme.If norton is not unistalling use norton uninstalling tool which can be downloaded from norton website.
first to run start windows normally if it doesn't start then use safe mode and if it don't start in safe mode try to start with last known good configuration.
If it start in anyone of the modes first of first remove norton as sometime it creates problem in uninstalling.I also have acer laptop with same problem i use norton removal tool.

Try the "last good configuration option - that might work.
If it does not you can try running in safe mode, and from there try to uninstall any remaining norton files from the control panel's uninstall software icon/

Re the above, i also forget to mention that when i try to run in any of the above modes, my lap top crashes and either shuts down or tries to start again and we get back to which mode i wish to run in
