Actually I have browsed the canon website and this type of printer is not compatible with windows 7. However you can use your windows update to search a compatible driver for you. For step by step guide you can refer to this website

It would be better if you had mentioned the Operating System installed on your computer instead of your system configuration. Anyway, you can download the drivers from the Canon Official website... (click here). Open the link and select the operating system type from the o.s. select box and click "submit", the available drivers for the respective operating system will be listed on the page.
If you need further help, let me know with the name of the o.s. installed on your computer (windows xp, windows vista, windows 7, mac osX, etc..)
