I have a thinkway Toy Story Collection Buzz Lightyear and his batteries are held beneath his jet pack!!! How the hell do I get this jet pack off in order to get the screwdriver in to then replace the batteries. Please help me someone my 4 year old is desperate to have him up and running again.!!! There appear to be no screws in the jet pack so that I can remove it and I don't want to end up snapping it off!!

Is it NEW? Return it if in warranty time. you've used it past warranty time? Well, hope you get a better answer like mine, though I doubt it. Toys are designed to las just until warranty is over, even expensive toys, and actually I don't know about any Toy-repair Service.

You most likely have a bad connection. Use a volt meter to check for continuity between the + an - wires on the On/Off switch. If that has continuity then check wires coming from the battery holder.

batteries are located on the back of the legs under knees 4 AA each side and 3 AAA batts on top of the switch on the jet pack i hope this will help you and that you let everyone here know this solved your problem.

How do i remove wing pack on buzz lightyear

Pop the wings out, put your fingers under the bottom edge of the jet pack and pull hard. The Jet pack comes right off and the wings stay attached to the toy. This gives you access to the battery compartment.

Just pull off the jet pack. The first couple of times it is real stiff and you think you are going to break something but it comes right off. Pop out the wings so you can get your fingers under the jet pack and pull hard. It pops right off.
