The difference in capacity between 1320mAh and 1300mAh is minor (we are talking about a 1,6% difference, this is below production variance anyway). If the voltage and battery type is the same and the new battery fits inside your device, there will be no problem.

Note, the 1300mAh is the capacity of the battery (how much energy it can store). The main information this value gives is how long a device can work without the battery needing a recharge. You need to be concerned only about the output voltage of the battery (measured in Volts, abbreviated V, and the chemistry type of battery like NiMH, LiIon, LiPo, NiCd). The voltage should match the original so that your GPS device works properly without getting fried or underpowered; the chemistry type must match so the battery and the charging electronics do not get damaged when the external charger is connected.

Tom tom go 710 will not switch on

I guess that you have already made sure the battery is charged enough to power the Sat Nav.... In the back of the Tom Tom where the cradle attaches, there is a tiny hole at the top where you can insert a small object such as a sewing needle in order to press the reset button; However, you may find that like mine the hole doesn't line-up with the button and therefore you can't reset the unit unless you remove the casing. if this is the case it's best to search You Tube and watch the short video as to what exactly to do! (it's really not hard)

Hope this helps

How can i update my guide sat nav

If the maps are on an sd card you may be able to put tom tom on but as for updates myguide no longer exist and so don't provide updates. Mine still works fine and any roads that have been built that don't appear on the sat nav i have managed anyway.
