I have a Audiovox MMD11A 11" overhead lcd monitor with dvd player that I purchased from Best Buy back in April, 2009. The devise won't cut on at all. There is a dvd in the player and I can't eject it. The only thing that does work is the extra overhead lights on the devise. I had my fuses checked and was told those were good and there was power going to the player. I am scheduled for tomorrow to get it looked at. I am still paying for it and have only watched it a handful of times. Thank you.

All you have to do is slide a postcard in the slot for the DVD while it is ejecting and that should solve your problem. It did for me...

If you still have your receipt, go back to best buy or contact audiovox (audiovox.com) and see if you can have it repaired under warranty.

I have an older VHS/DVD Polaroid DVS2000 player. Purchased second hand. VHS works, DVD after loading gives this message, "Unknown Disc."

You can try cleaning with a dvd disk cleaner but, generally when this happens the laser assembly needs replaced. You can try a local repair shop but, most people will just buy another DVD system.

I have an Audiovox Overhead DVD player in my 2006 Ford Explorer which was installed at time of purchase. It doesnt work at all and I just want to replace it with a better one. My question is, are there...

You can possibly use the old base but it will depend on the video screen. the new unit will absolutely need to be connected to the radio. Some web sites to ponder on www.millionbuy.com and www.onlinecarstereo.com and www.etronics.com these sites have good prices. Hope this helps leave feedback if so. thanks

We have a Audiovox (model FY035002) dual car dvd player, my son stepped on the adaptor and broke the fuse screw holder, do I need to replace the whole adaptor and where can I purchase?

I had to buy a replacement charger a while back. E-mail Audiovox through their website with the model of the DVD player and the part number of the adapter and they will let you know where you can purchase the replacement. It's throught another company, just can't remember and you can order it online - they'll give you the website. It only costs about $15.00.
