You must do on a computer when your iriver is attached. You cannot do it directly off the player.

I can't delete songs off my sansa e200! HELP!

When you plug the device into your computer just look at it with the file manager. If you can't see the media files, make certain you have selected in windows "show all files". You need to see the hidden files, including operating files. Be very careful only to delete files that you think are the corrupted media files.
If you are on windows 7 you can look at my blog site which will explain how you can select the options to view all files.
It's under the section about windows media player art problems.

go to your music sourse on the computer and delete it from there, then make sure the file is out of your computer completely by deleting the raw file. next plug your iRiver into the computer and syncronize it to you music source, the song or songs should have been deleted. I used to have an iriver but got an hour glass that never ended when I turned it on, i fixed it but then it happened again so i got fet up with iriver and gave in and went and bought an iPod

I cant delete any songs off of a MyMusix PD-6110 MP3 player....

Q: How do I delete songs from the PD-6110?
A :The songs only can deleted through your PC. If you use Windows Media Player 10, go to the Sync window and select the songs that should show up under the 'Music' folder tree on the right side of the window and select the songs you want to delete and press the 'delete' key on your keyboard. With Windows Media Player 11, Open the 'MP3 Player' tree on the left side of the window then select 'Songs' from the list. Then select the songs you want to delete and press the 'delete' key on your keyboard. You can also open the 'Removable Disk' under 'My Computer' and delete the songs from there.
