A couple of weeks ago our well pump quit working and it caused our frigidiare front load washer to stop and every since then during a wash cycle it keep shutting its self down and it says paus on the screen, do I need to call a repair person or is there some kind of reset? Thanks!

Most likely tub bearings and spider gear are bad.

Its the clutch ,And it sounds like it time for a new washer,the clutch is expensive and washer are cheap try a second hand store that sale scratched or almost new machines

The bearings are bad. My sears kenmore did the same thing. Do you have hard water, that would be one cause. Or maybe it's still under warrenty because it is not a cheap fix.

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and F02 is flashed.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the “Sud” error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
• Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
• Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects
• If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump

You probably need new shocks for the washer as they break over time. They cost $37 each and you can replace them your self. If you don't fix these you may end up breaking the motor controller and while the part may be covered under the warranty the diagnostic and labor is not.

you may a pluse cycle where the washer will stop for a couple of min, this cycle is for perm press to minimize wrinkels

Sounds to me like the motherboard inside the unit is on it's way to thermal overload. This is a common problem with this particular model. You'll smell electronics burning and one day it'll quit altogether with a burst of smoke. I had this happen to me and I traced the problem back to a faulty triac (transistor-like device) that overheated and caused the circuit board and wiring harness to burn up from excessive current draw. I repaired my motherboard with a new triac ($6) and rewired the harnesses. A cooling fan on the heatsink of the board would solve this problem.

Most likely to be something in the water pump but could be anything in the mechanical assembly. PLease rate my help
