We tried to put factory default in Polycom IP 331 SIP Phone.It is booting continuously and it shows the following error while booting."Error loading 0004f2329caf. cfg". All the other booting sequences are same for both the working and not-working phone. Please guide us to resolve the issue and make it up.

This occurs when the phone is set up to load it's configuration file from a ftp or tftp server and it cannot find the file or server location. If the phone is supposed to do this, please check that the ftp or tftp service is running on the specified server. The server name or ip is specified in the setup of the phone, available when the phone is first booting up. The default username is 'Polycom' and password is '456'. If you DO NOT want your phone to get it's configuration from a network server, enter the setup area and remove the server name or IP address from the appropriate section.

I have a problem regarding my Polycom Soundpoint IP331. It doesn't boot anymore. It shows only an error which is error.cfg.
You need to reinstall all the files back onto the phone. You can get the files from the Polycom Website. You can also follow the instruction from my Polycom 501 Fixya blog to see how its done.

1st. Get the IP address of the phone. and type that into browser.
*- default user: Polycom / password: 456

*- Under menu SIP, type in your voip provider
*-Under menu LINES type in user info and "secret" should be your password.

Make sure your ports are open (SIP is usually 5060) you can change it in that same config screen.

Polycom 501 phone keeps trying to reboot itself. We rebooted manually a few times and get the same error message: 'Could not find boot server current configuation" Any ideas?
try to turn off the Polycom device. When you turn it back on, press Setup. from the options, select server then click edit. Then select the item Trivial FTP (that setup depends on your ISP), and type the IP address assigned to your network (example 192.168.90.90) then hit OK. click exit several times then press Save & reboot. What is the default password for Polycom Soundpoint IP 320 SIP?
Default Passwords:
To get into the web interface, the default username/password is "Polycom"/"456" (Note that this does not work with Safari 1.2.2.)
To get into the Admin interface on the hard phone, the password is "456". (Prior to v1.3.1, the web interfaces to the phone uses "Polycom"/"SpIp" as the username/password.)
The "user password" (not used much) defaults to "123".

To reset a lost admin password to default: at phone boot, during the 5 second countdown, push/hold 468* on the phone. Enter the phone's MAC address as the password. This will reset network info but keep peers loaded. Tested on Soundpoint IP 650.

Error loading 0004f220429c.cfg
This means the phone cannot find its <mac>.cfg file on the boot server, and does not have one loaded in its own flash memory.
You will need to configure a boot server to host the SIP software, BootROM, and all the config files (these are included in with the SIP software).
You can download these from Polycom's product support page:

Polycom IP 330 SIP C Will not boot up
This means the phone's SIP application has been erased. You will need to download the SIP app and BootROM from the Polycom support page, host the files on a boot server, and then point the phone to this server from the server menu so the phone will reboot and download the files.

Polycom ip501f error, application is not present
Make sure you have the latest BootROM and SIP config files for this polycom(sip.ld, sip.cfg, etc...) on your TFTP server. If you do not have this - download from here - http://www.polycom.com/support/voice/soundpoint_ip/soundpoint_ip501.html

If you do not have a TFTP server, you can download one for free.
