I Had the same thing happen! It has to do with the retention clip. Here you go: How to Fix Wii Disk Read Errors Game Front
After you fix it, don't leave game disks overnight or in for extended periods of time as that pulls the clip down.
my friend,Christina, had the same problem, but didn't handle it right. SHE threw it on the ground. Don't do that. Just take it into GameStop. Then you can either get it fixed, or you can trade it in for a new Wii.
I would format your memory, then turn everything off, but make sure to take out your game disc. Then unplug the wii for about 30 minutes. Plug it back in then start up your consol. If it happens again call Nintendo.
