My Epson EMP-1815 Projector displays replace lamp. Should I replace only the lamp, or the lamp along with the housing module advised by my supplier, which is quite expensive. Does it require an expert in either case ?

Several online retailers sell this bulb, either with or without the bulb housing. There are also several eBay sellers who offer this bulb as part of regular inventory (new bulbs) though I don't have personal experience with any of them.

Search GoogleShopping for the model name and the word "bulb" like this:

Note: Be sure to double-check the model of your light box BEFORE you buy a lamp. I'm familiar with Epson's EMP-X3 projector, and I've heard of an EMP-X3 television, but I haven't ever heard of an EMP-X3 light box.

i have one that work but there are red bars on the display, for sale 50.00 no lamp

check for the error indicator in the projector, if the bulb light is flashing red, then i think you need to clean the units ventilation fan, if cleaning doesnt solve the problem, you have to replace the bulb.

Could be a faulty lamp or placement issue. Are the fans operating in varying speeds? Have you had the lamp verified as working by the supplier or someone else who has this model.

Did you reset you lamp hours when you reinstalled you new lamp?
