This could be several problems. Check your fuel first. If it is old fuel from last year, get rid of it and fill with fresh. If it has water in the tank, your spraying water to your ignition source. If you have fresh fuel, it could be a fuel filter stopped up or your air pump is not set properly. Also check your ignitor to see if it is working properly. Some have a spark plug and some have a glow type ignitor.

I have had a Reiker Heat/ cool fan for 3 years and have had no problems, till now. All parts are working ,lights , fan, remote, but I have no heat. How do I fix this. K.

I had the same problem and fixed it with a reset. The reset button is on the back of the remote next to the dip switches. You have to take the battery cover off to see it.

Turn on the fan with heat using the remote. Then, leaving the remote turned on, turn off the fan at the wall switch or circuit breaker. Wait a few minutes and turn the electricity back on. Then, within 30 seconds, and within range of the fan, press the reset button. You should be able to see a countdown from 5 to 0 on the remote screen.

Once I did this the heat began working again.

My new rieker fan stopped blowing heat- the fan works --not the heater

I had the same problem with my fan and solved it with a reset. The reset button is on the back of the remote next to the dip switches. You have to take the battery cover off to see it.

Turn on the fan with heat, even though the heat doesn't work. Then, leaving the remote on, turn off the fan at the wall switch (or circuit breaker box). Wait a few minutes. Then turn on the power and within 30 seconds, press the reset button. You should be able to see a countdown from 5 to 0 on the remote screen.

Once I did this the heat started working again.

How do you turn on the heater?

Mine has two switches one says cool - off - heat, the other says fan on - fan auto. For heat I set the first to heat and the second to auto. This puts everything in to heat mode and the fan runs from the furnace control now not constantly. Hope this helps you out.

your blower motor is trying to seize up on you, it is time to change it, if the fan doesn't come on first your water heater should not light, the fan comes on first to get eccess gasses out of the burner compartment,, do not light with ot the fan first it could combust
