Why can't I sign in to skype

I downgraded the firmware to a version back and then upgraded back to latest and it worked for me.

there is a chance that you need to turn the volume up. consult your manual.

You have to change te properties of microfone and speaker in the Skype to the phone.
Go to tools->options, enter audio settings and define your phone for mic and speaker.

I have exactly the same problem the Rtx modem have somekind of failure ..the red light is on , but the phone does not connect to the modem..and as You with another modem it will work(also the phone)..
I bought new one ..here in Finland the repairer says that they will not take it to service , because they have not the "repair maps"...and when it is under 100

The Dualphone 3088 LCD screen has a terrible habit of coming loose from the ribbon connector socket on the main board. If you take the phone apart, carefully remove the LCD screen from the plastic surround it is in and you will see the ribbon and its board connector. The small clipson either side of the connector have a habit of coming loose, freeing the LCD screen. Carefully put the ribbon cable from the LCD screen back into the connector, you will need to press both clips on the connector at the same time to lock it in place. (yes its fiddly and I have to do it all the damn time)

Usually it means that there are outstanding (voice) messages. All you do is to go to messages and delete them. Otherwise, a reset works but is rather a hassle reconnecting etc.

there must be problem with the loud speaker or ringing speaker of the phone.take it to product care center
