My washing machine drum wont turn. The washing machine fills with water then just sits with water in it. It will drain but wont spin It worked fine yesterday, but today nothing. When I turn the drum by hand, there is still resistance there, so I dont think the belt has gone.

Machine worked fine to start with . Then stopped. Will fill water but drum wont turn on a wash cycle. And wont spin on spin cycle.But Belt seems fine. Can you help.

The pump needs to be replaced. The pump controls the agitation for the wash cycle, also controls the tub for draining & spinning after the wash & rinse cycle. The belt has nothing to do with it. Pump is very simple to remove & replace, and not too expensive, it's plastic.

Washer won't drain.

check the drain hole when you start the machine if the water is coming back out , if yes that means your dump valve is bad.

Hello. if it don't turn then it could be the brushes on the motor also check the interlock on the door. any spin problems could be the module control board get back to me if you still have problems
