HP 5Si printer, multiple images on one sheet
HP 5Si, Windows XP, Networked Jetdirect card, 20MB memory, duplex option.
Unit worked fine before. Power outage occurred, seemed to have knocked out the printer. Rebooted and couldn't get to work. Re-installed driver, then I could get test page going - Good. Printing multi-page documents prints all images on one page. Trying the duplex option still prints all images on one page. Did the power outage fry the electronics somehow - or is there a configuration/driver issue that I am not aware of when I reinstalled it (downloaded from HP site).

If this is a "ghost" image like whats on the top of the page is re-appearing on the middle and/or bottom. The fuser is defective and needs to be replaced. Part # RG5-4447

You need to go into the print driver on your Windows machine and go to the Device settings tab. One of the settings is to set whether the unit has a duplexer or not. It does not always set automatically.

Sir, the Hp LaserJet 2015n printer CANNOT automatically do duplex printing since the printer does not include mechanism and paper storage areas to cycle the paper through the printer a second time and print on the reverse side.
Manual duplex printing can be done as follows: Choose duplex printing and remove all sheets after the printing is complete. Turn the sheets over while preserving the orientation and insert them in the paper feed path.
I have an HP 1020 laserjet printer which is similar to the 2015.
Is the 615n an internal print server not one in the EIO slot. From memory if so it has a really high failure rate. Try getting JetDirect cards for EIO slots and seeing if they work.

what printer do you have? brand and model? do you has installed the newest driver and utility for vista operating system? do you know that Vista and XP are incompatible in terms of drivers?
Vista has many drivers for a lots of printers, but these drivers are "generic driver". The generic driver is a small driver, an incomplete driver, and has a limited functions.
The default in Vista seems to be the duplexer is not installed. You will need to tell the driver the duplexer is present. This would be found in the (control panel)printers folder, doubleclick on the 1200d, printer, properties, device settings, installable options, then select "installed" for Duplex Unit.
