Laptop toshiba a300-15m webcam driver

The webcam driver gets deleted frequently

how do i solve this problem

    my microphone driver has been deleted and i cant get it back what should i do?

1. Click the Windows Start button.
2. Click Control Panel, System and Maintenance and then Device Manager.
3. Right-click on Chicony USB 2.0 Camera and select Update Driver Software. A yellow exclamation point indicates that the camera is recognized by Windows but is not working properly, probably because of problem with the device driver
4. Select Browse my computer for the driver software.
5. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
6. Select USB Video Device from the list, and click Next.
7. If the message “Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device” appears, click Close.
8. Restart Windows.
The webcam should now work properly.

Firstly check to see if your system detects a web cam hardware, if it does then, click on here to download your driver http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK, and if that does'nt solve it, Restore you computer back to factory setting.

Hello,.. gud day.. i have this laptop which is a satellite L300, before, its OS was Vista.. but now im using Windows 7.. but i got a problem in iinstalling the webcam driver because it fails.. can u please...
I have had a look around, lots of people are having the same problem. Some say the vista driver works for them, others say deleting all the drivers for the webcam, then letting win7 find the drivers on the internet worked for them.

My toshiba L310 laptop webcam dosenot work & that happend after i upgradded my OS from Vista to win7
1. It's a driver compatibility problem with Windows 7.

2. Install the driver for web camera which is compatible on Windows 7 using the bundled CD/DVD.

3. Update the web cam driver using Windows Update!

4. Restart the system.
