If you are using xp, boot from xp cd and
copy from i386. this file "lsass.exe" to the follewing location and restart

c:/windows/system32
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache (this is hidden file also protected os file)

Simply open the page" www.google.com" and type in "sound drivers" press enter. The drivers would be available for download.

may be your operating system has been corrupted by some virus or missing files. if it is so reinstalling or repairing windows using a bootable dvd is the best option.

Acer travelmate 2300 wont start the screen , if l turn t on it runs for a while and then turn the fan thats it . It started after switching on 1 day and pressed f2 button before starting the screen

well charge it completely. remove any extra devices connected. try this.....if still same then contact the manufacturer

My dell insprion 1520 wont go past boot screen it stars then goes to a black screen that says start up repair or start windows normally but when i click star up repair nothing happens then i pick start...

Place your windows cd/dvd in the tray and boot to the cd. When asked if you want to install windows, there will be a repair option further down towards teh bottom, or you will be asked to click R like before. The repair only works if the cd is in the tray.

Acer travelmate 2300 - power on but as if BIOS did not start

Open the memory cover from bottom of the laptop if you can find. And re-plug the memory chips carefully..make sure it be plug in properly. and try switch on again.
