I also had this problem. I determined that the Standby input to the main board was shorted to ground and that makes the TV wake up only to shutdown and repeat the process forever. I ended up replacing the main board. Finding a main board for this TV will require an exact replacement as the main board is used in several different TVs and has different connectors and parts for each different set.
It sounds like a defective power supply module that is causing the failure on your TV. In about 95% of the time the power supply fails but there could other failure(s) in the other LCD circuitry.

i
have been a tech for 26 yrs now i have seen so many postings on here
about bulging caps and so on but there is only 1 thing to do our
workshop has 18000 dollars in test equipment alone there is a great
reason for this the amount of vereables that can go wrong with nano
electronics there is no easy fix to this problem it needs to be seen by a
certified electronics tech this is your best chance of having this tv
fixed correctly im not putting down other techs on this site but some
things we can fix by computer network some we cant imagine even if this
tv was in my workshop right now it would take us over an hour just to
find and fix the cause
have a tech clean inside cabinet and replace bulb , should be under warrantee if under 5 years old just had mine done free of charge from panasonic call 1 888 843 9788 they will direct you to a dealer. hope this helps
Joe, If the system is only 1 year old I would guess it may still be under warranty. Check with the installing dealer. Might not cost a thing to fix it.
It sounds like a problem with the power supply. I had the same thing happen on a TV that was only a couple of years old. It did the same thing that you have mentioned. Once in a great while, it would turn on, and then we'd just leave it on because we didn't know when we would be able to get it to work again. The problem was, to buy a power supply for it we could get another TV. It just wasn't worth it.
Your flatscreen might be under warranty. I would look into that.
it is due to degaussing circuit.
it has developed due to changing the side or turning tv or any thing is lying near tv which has got magnetic effect.
solution
1 put of tv for 15 minutes
2 do not change direction while watching tv .
3 remove magnetic thing like speaker if is near tv.
still if you donot get the result call tech.to degauss it with degaussing coil.
it is 2 minutes job.
good luck.
