After you remove both vegetable drawers completely, look on the left side of the shelf (called the veg pan in the manual) for a round button. Press and hold the button while you tip the shelf up. Pull the shelf out slowly. This button is shown on page 20 of the manual.

The manual is available from Samsung on the product support page: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/RF4287HARS/XAA . The direct link to the manual is currently http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201303/20130315164516140/DA68-01922A_1.5.pdf .

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Replacement glass shelf required

Not too sure what your glass shelf looks like, but if you can't find replacements it might be easier to just get a sheet of plexiglass and glass cutting tool from a home depo (or the like) and cut it to the correct measurements. That's what I did for mine.

SOURCE: My FRT8B5EW4 has water building up in the crisper

This is a common problem when the drain for the condensate from defrost tries to get to the pan below your refrigerator. Almost every blockage may be a little different. The trick is to find where it begins and eliminate that problem first and then cleaning the condensate drain line out with a wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Click on the link below and if you have any questions or need one on one assistance let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze [email protected]

brute force on the glass shelf.... it was just stuck in place by the cold sticky liquid that had seeped under the edges and bonded the glass and plastic together

How to take apart frame from glass shelf on Maytag MFB2055FRZ that hold the baskets under shelf

I seem to be having the same issue with a Maytag refrigerator model M1TXEGMYS01. I would like to thoroughly clean all shelves of this new-to-is refrigerator but I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the glass from the plastic housing. I was able to take the end and central brackets off (that hold the drawers) but I can’t figure the rest of it out... and the manual I looked up didn’t provide any information on separating the housing either. Please see pic attached. Thanks in advance!

I need to change the water filter in my samsung srs618dp fridge freezer. I have the filter but cannot locate the internal part in the fridge i need to change.

For Samsung side-by-side refrigerators, there are two possible locations. One is in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator. The other is behind the veggie drawer.

To access the filter, either remove the top glass shelf or the vegetable bin. Turn off the water to the refrigerator. If no filter is currently in use, remove the cap. If a filter is in use, remove the old filter. Turn clockwise to remove the old filter. Save the cap to reinstall if the fridge is ever used without the filter. Note the date when you put in the new filter and place the sticker on the filter. Remove the red cap from the new filter and align the unlock mark with the filter mark on the filter housing in the refrigerator. (Looks like an unlocked padlock with the u part turned 180 degrees from the rest of the lock). Turn the new filter counter-clockwise 90 degrees until the lock symbol (closed padlock) lines up with the mark on the housing. Use steady firm pressure - it will be hard to turn. This ensures a tight seal. Turn on the water line and check for leaks. If the filter isn't leaking replace the shelf or the vegetable drawer.

Samsung support for the SRS618dp is here: http://www.samsung.com/au/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP00&prd_ia_cd=2201&prd_mdl_cd=RS23DENS1%2FRAD&prd_mdl_name=SRS618DP&srchword=SRS618DP .

I hope this helps.
