Hello,

Try the reset again: press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.

Now try to login with user: (leave it blank), and password: admin
or user: admin and blank password.

That should do it. Let me know how you make out.

Regards,

Joe

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

  • Right click on My Computer select the Properties Option.
  • Go to the System Restore sub menu.
  • Deactivate the Turn off System Restore on all drives and validate by clicking on the Ok button.
  • A message will inform the removal of all existing restore points.
  • Confirm with "Yes".

I put new CD in my pc,it had virus that had made some prblam in my computer.wht can i do

Use youe antivirus to scan your computer, IF you dont have any, download a free program, choose one of these.
AVG9 free
Avira
Microsoft security essentials

Turn your system restore OFF when you scan for viruses (start / programs / accessories / system tools / system restore)
When you have scanned and deleted any problems, Download Malwarebytes and scan your computer for malware/spyware.
This is also a free download.
Hope this helps a little

Try resetting your wireless adapter first by unplugging it and plugging it back in. If that does not work, let me know what kind of anti-virus you are using and if you know how to use "command prompt".

Can't download forward or reply on my email ?

it could be a virus or some setting.. it's unlikely it's your router unless you disable or closed ports like 110 which is pop3 server port.
I would suggest to make sure you're virus free first (which is a most) and then try to do a restore with a previous restore point. also check your firewall and make sure your email client is configured as an exception.

if you did change something in your router, check the firewall configuration and if you dont remember what you changed, just reset your router to defaults. You may need to reconfigure wireless security after that

good luck!

Wireless internet not working

Hello,

My name is ArmyMason, might I suggest that you do a system restore to take your computer back to a date the computer was working correctly. Click on start, all programs, Accessories, system tools and click on System Restore. Tell it to restore and choose a date on the calendar. If this doesn't resolve the issue run Anti virus to see if your computer is infected. If this doesnt help please consider using our Premium service.

Thanks,
ArmyMason

Reconfigure router

I seriously can't stand those motorola routers specially since they have to reboot themselves after every change.

Unplug the power from the router, hold the reset button in and plug the power back. Keep holding the reset button for 30 seconds. That should restore it back to factory settings. Plug one machine to the router and try to access the admin console. if memory serves me correctly, the user name is admin and password is motorola.
