Normal screen is white background, but lately I am getting a blue tint that clears up sometimes and sometimes not. Please advise

Try hooking up another knowng working monitor to the computer and see if the blue tint comes back intermittently.

If it still comes up then you know your video card is the culprit. If the blue tint goes away then you know the original monitor is bad.

LCD Dell Monitor displaying purple and green rather then picture.

sounds like your monitor is starting to go out. if there are any speakers near your monitor, it is likely magnetic interference. try moving your monitor to a different area and see if it still does this. if it does, i would replace the monitor. if it doesn't, just simply reorganize the area around your monitor and it should go away after degaussing the screen.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Connect a different monitor to your computer, if it still displays the same fault the the problem is the video card and you need a replacement.

The screen is pink tinted

A pink (or any tinted) screen is usually an indicator of one of two things:
1. The cable going from the video card to the monitor is loose. Try adjusting the cable and see if the picture changes. Put pressure in all directions slowly to see if it clears up. If it does, you should change your monitor cable.
2. One or more of your CRT "guns" or "rays" is malfunctioning, causing the red gun to be too strong, or causing the green or blue to be too weak. This is difficult to fix... time for a new monitor. Sometimes you can get a little more life out if by smacking the monitor on the side.

HP PAVILLION ZE4900 MONITOR goes 'night vision' green

Just attach an external monitor to it and observe for several minutes while working on it. If the problem disappears, then it's time to check the screen signal cable and/or the screen itself. Only a qualified technician can handle the later except you are one. Good luck

My aopen f2925 monitor has a green tint.

The solution: hidden menu within the main menu itself. Hold the Menu button down while pressing Power to power on, and release power button only when the screen comes up, still holding the menu button. The menu will appear and there will now be a hidden selection, "Auto Color", printed in a red-on-black font at the bottom of the menu. Use the +/- buttons to access it, and press Menu. My green/yellow tint went away! Now my picture works great, and the setting lasts through Auto-Adjusts and Resets!
